Dear PA Homeschool Parent,

I realize how intimidating it can be to think about homeschooling your child. I also know that the PA homeschool laws can be confusing and overwhelming.

The worst thing a parent can do is turn to the local school district for answers to even the most basic and common questions. School district employees are notoriously misinformed about homeschool laws and routinely provide inaccurate information. While facebook groups can be free and convenient, the information shared is often incomplete, inaccurate or conflicting.

I created a private community on the PA Homeschool Law website to help parents navigate the homeschool law with the most accurate and current information. In situations where the law is vague and hasn't been clarified by a regulation, case law or legislation, I'll explain how different entities interpret the law to help parents decide how best to proceed to protect her rights.
